A bike service day,
at your office

We drive the service van onto your site and set up a full workshop for the day. Your people book their own slot through a link and ride home on a bike that is safe again — private bikes included. You pick a date and a spot. We do the rest.

What we bring

A workshop,
only at your place

The service van is not a trailer with tools in it. It is a full mobile workshop: repair stands, e-bike diagnostic equipment and the wear parts that come up most often. That is why the large majority of what we find gets solved the same day.

  • Mechanics on our own payroll, Bosch- and Shimano-certified
  • City bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes and speed pedelecs
  • The most-used wear parts on board
  • Private bikes too — often the bike someone actually rides in on
  • A price up front whenever more than a check is needed

Why companies do this

Three things at once,
in a single day

A service day is one of the few staff schemes where sustainability, a visible benefit and employee health land together — and the only one you can arrange in a day.

Sustainability you can show

Cycling policy is the cheapest part of a CO₂ target, but only while people actually keep cycling.

  • A bike left broken quietly becomes a car or a train pass
  • Something concrete in your mobility or sustainability policy
  • Counts towards your commuting reporting
  • No ten-page programme — one day, one arrangement

A benefit people notice

Employees feel this one immediately, and it costs less than almost anything else with the same visibility.

  • Private bikes too — usually the bike that matters most
  • Nobody has to take an afternoon off for the bike shop
  • Works just as well for hybrid staff who come in one day a week
  • You decide whether staff contribute, and how much

Health and vitality

Cycling to work is the easiest daily exercise there is — as long as the bike works.

  • Safe brakes and lights, all year round
  • A concrete piece of your vitality policy
  • Fewer people dropping off because their bike stopped
  • A visible signal that you take cycling seriously
A service day up close

This is what it looks like

A spot on the site, the van beside it and a row of bikes that all ride again by the end of the day. That is all it is — and that is exactly why it works.

What it costs you in effort

Four steps,
and three are ours

All you do is pick a date and point at a spot. The rest comes from us, including the communication to your staff.

  1. Date and placeA parking space or a piece of courtyard, and a date that suits. Power is handy but not needed; the van is self-sufficient.
  2. We supply the commsBooking link, an email you can forward internally and a poster for the entrance. You do not have to write anything.
  3. Staff book themselvesEveryone picks their own slot. We watch the sign-ups come in and match the number of mechanics to them.
  4. The day itself, and afterWe arrive, work and clear up. Afterwards you get a report: how many bikes, what was done and what still needs attention.

Five minutes
of their day

The reason people actually use this is that it's this convenient. No time off, no trip to the shop — and a happier ride home on a bike that works again.

  1. BookThey pick a slot that suits.
  2. Drop offBike to the van, straight back inside.
  3. We workChecks and small repairs on the spot, bigger jobs quoted first.
  4. MessageThey hear the moment their bike is ready.
  5. Ride homeThey leave on a bike that is safe again.
How others do it

Three years running,
same client

Podimo & Dag en Nacht Media in Amsterdam booked their first service day in 2024 and have repeated it every year since. That is the real verdict on a day like this: whether it goes back in the calendar the year after.

„We had a great experience with Yeply. Smooth process to set the date for our Company Day, on which we had 2 technicians who took care of our bikes. They were knowledgeable and experienced and were able to work through all the bikes in just a couple of hours. We will definitely be using this service in the future.”
Studio/Office Manager, Podimo & Dag en Nacht Media
„Two mechanics, every bike done in a couple of hours, and nobody had to take half a day off for it. Since 2024 the service day has gone back into their calendar every year.”

The practical side

How many people do we need?

Yes, there's a minimum: one shift, which is 7 to 10 people. Most companies cover the checks, maintenance and service for everyone, with extra repairs or parts down to the employee. For a bigger office we bring more mechanics or plan a second day.

More than one site?

Then we make a route of it. Companies with several locations often do this once a year per site, in the same period.

And who pays for it?

You decide. Some companies cover everything, others cover the check but not the parts. Both work.

Frequently asked questions

What you'll want to know

Do you send a bike mechanic to our office?

Yes. We drive the service van to your site and set up a workshop there for the day. Employees book their own slot through a link and collect their bike at the end of the day — private bikes are welcome too. You arrange a place and a date; we arrange the mechanics, the parts and the report afterwards. A service day can be a one-off or come back every year.

What does a company bike service day give us as an employer?

Three things at once. It is something concrete in your sustainability or mobility policy, because a bike left broken becomes a car in practice. It is a benefit staff notice immediately, especially because private bikes are included. And it supports vitality: cycling to work is the easiest daily exercise there is, as long as the bike works. All of that without anyone taking an afternoon off.

How much work is it for us to organise?

Picking a date and pointing at a spot. We supply the booking link, an email you can forward internally and a poster for the entrance, so you write nothing yourself. Nobody from your side needs to be there on the day. Afterwards you get a report of what was done.

How many bikes can you do in a day?

That depends on the type of work and how many mechanics we bring. For checks with small adjustments we get through several dozen in a day; for full services, fewer. We match the number of mechanics to the sign-ups, so you know in advance what is realistic.

Does this work when a lot of people work from home?

Yes, and it is a reason to set the date well in advance. Companies often tie the service day to a day when everyone is in the office anyway. Anyone who is not there can send their bike in with a colleague — we work by time slot, not by name.

What does a company bike service day cost?

That depends on the number of bikes, the type of work, and whether you carry the cost yourself or share it with your staff. We put together a proposal for your situation — ask for it and you will hear within a few working days what it comes to.

Can you service only the company-owned bikes?

That works too. Some companies have only their own fleet or lease bikes checked, others open the day to everyone including private bikes. For a fixed fleet, a maintenance contract with a monthly rate per vehicle is usually better value than one-off service days.
